West Peak Engineering is a structural engineering practice built on more than 25 years of hands-on experience in design, construction, and project management. We provide time-efficient, practical, and code-compliant structural solutions for a wide spectrum of clients, including architects, engineers, developers, owners, contractors, and public agencies across Canada. Our work spans industrial and oil & gas facilities, mining and petrochemical plants, manufacturing operations, commercial and high-rise buildings, and institutional facilities.

Over the course of our practice, we have been involved in new builds as well as rehabilitation, upgrade, and repurposing of existing structures. This diverse portfolio allows us to draw on lessons learned from many building types and construction methods, applying proven ideas to each new assignment. Our design experience covers reinforced concrete, structural steel, reinforced masonry, and wood, from conceptual framing schemes through to detailed connection design and constructability reviews.

West Peak Engineering offers specialized expertise in advanced analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and dynamic analysis and design of concrete foundations for heavy and vibrating machinery. We routinely assess and strengthen existing industrial structures to accommodate increased loads, new equipment, or changes in use—always with a focus on safety, reliability, and minimal disruption to operations.

Working in the Canadian environment has given us deep experience designing structures for extreme cold climates, high wind regions, and significant seismic demands.
